Thompson Engineering, Inc. is a family owned Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Company started by Lyle Thompson in 1973. Lyle is a native of Southeast Idaho, born and raised in Madison County. Lyle has worked for many public and private companies in the Northwest, including the State of Idaho and State of Utah Department of Highways.

Sand Creek Ponderosa - Fremont County, Idaho
Sand Creek Ponderosa Subdivision is bordered with Aspen groves and Pine trees on the North and East sides, and sage brush and sand dunes on the west. Thru the middle of the subdivision are two large bodies of water known as Lilly Pond and the Upper Arcadia Reservoir. The majority of the subdivision lots are located around these bodies of water with Common Areas located throughout the Subdivision. The largest Common Area on the west side is tied to a network of 4-wheeling, horse, and hiking trails located on National Forest Government property that leads to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes.
